I heard there is some legal reason that Java can not run on IPhone? Something about VM's not being allowed on IPhone. I hear you may make a Java app then convert it to Javascript with GWT and then run the Javascript app on an IPhone. Anyone have any thoughts about any of this?

I think it's just Apple refusing to allow any non-ObjectiveC apps onto the app store.
